“In just one word, Susan Sarandon says exactly what we’re all thinking. Where are the priorities of all the “journalists” over at CNN? Why are they covering tabloid gossip over a newsworthy tragedy that all Americans need to be talking about today? The top headline of every major news outlet in America should read “Never Again” and be a story about Terrence Crutcher.

America needs to have this conversation before another black body is lying dead on American streets. And while our friends at CNN are eager to point out that 38 cops have been shot dead in the line of duty this year, they fail to mention that police have killed 697 people in 2016 – “many of whom were unarmed, mentally ill, and people of color.”

Cops are shooting citizens every day here, and apparently, a police state requires a compliant press (@CNN). But with social media, we can make sure that Terrence Crutcher’s story gets told, and we can ensure that #BlackLivesMatter is a rallying cry for justice that pierces the ears of every American, with or without the mainstream media.

So, if there’s anyone in your life that has been complaining about Colin Kaepernick taking a knee for the national anthem, but they haven’t expressed any outrage about Terrence Crutcher being shot in cold blood, then you need to share this article with them and make sure they read it to the end.”
